We're a seven piece band from Witney/Haiey/Charlbury/EastEnd but we tend to gig in Oxford. We've been together as our current line-up for about 5 months and have two demos under our belt. Originally a three-piece band with two bassists (Gruff and Lozzo) and a drummer (Richard) In early 2005. Gruff parted with the band (too many bassists one can assume) and Ben joined on guitar and vocals. They adapted the name 'Neb and the Art Punks' (*sigh*) and came up with some classics including 'Tierack' and 'Delays and Birthdays'. In June 2006, Lozzo and Ben met Bryony through a mutial friend and future band mate Joe. Bryony joined straight away on rhythm guitar and made Neb and the Art punks a four piece. Over the next few months we gained two more members: Rowan on percussion and Fitz on guitar. Lozzo parted with the band later on and Joe-Electro joined us on bass. Very recently we have gained our own violin player, Bernard; a lovely guy with a scary amount of talent.
"Frontman Ben Conway and bassist/keys man Joe Electro are the twin dynamos at the heart of the complex TATT machine - which pulls together classical violin interludes with rhythmic Thamesbeat-style percussion and chiming guitars." The Oxford Mail
